“I will never forget her swinging open the front door and yelling, ‘I got into nursing, I got into nursing,’” Mia shared. “It’s the little things I’ll never forget.”
Stacey Lynn’s dream of becoming a nurse reflected her caring spirit and desire to help others. Those closest to her admired her strength, determination, and ability to remain positive even during difficult times.
Corey Kenny was equally cherished by those who knew him. Mia recalled how he welcomed her into the Kenny family with warmth and humor.
“The Kenny family took me in and treated me like their own,” she wrote. “Or as Corey would say, ‘You’re a part of the furniture here now.’ I was greeted with love, open arms, and a big smile every time.”
